A Venetian baroque blue console table







A delightful Venetian baroque or Rococo period console table with three large scrolled legs held together by a carved wooden vase in the center, the top ( restored ) is in a rare marble with inclusions of ammonites , possibly associated at a later date to the console table.

Circa 1750 and in excellent condition ( except the restored marble top).

Provenance: the personal collection of film maker Joseph Losey.

height 76 cm ( 30 inches ) x length 69 cm ( 27 inches ) x depth 47 cm ( 18 1/2 inches ) .
