A set of six Chinese export Qianlong period wall paper panels, 18th century

A beautiful set of six rectangular panels painted on paper representing idealized scenes of daily life in China , in the country and along rivers, with people meandering to houses or exotic pavilions or getting into boats.

Circa 1760-1780.

The whole series is in extremely fresh colours, with a few stains, tears and accidents to the paper background.
