An Italian Piedmontese painted and gilt trumeau






A large North Italian Piedmontese neoclassical trumeau or chimney mirror in carved, painted and parcel gilt wood, the decor of garlands around a vase and an angel's head, the two sides decorated with small palmettes.

From a Turin workshop circa 1780.

Height 206 cm ( 6 ft 9 inches) x width 106 cm  ( 3 ft 6 inches ) x depth 6 cm (2 1/2 inches)
