A pair of Neapolitan neoclassical stands







A pair of neoclassical tripod and polychrome parcel gilt stands for holding torcheres or candlesticks, a Neapolitan work of the late 18th century period.

Provenance: Collection of Arturo Lopez-Willshaw , hotel Rodoconachi in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

A second pair en suite with this one but repainted and regilt was in the collection of Baron Alexis de Redé at hotel Lambert ( his sale , Sotheby's 17 March 2005 , n° 806 ).
