Two French dog collars from Chateau de Mello
Two 19th century silvered brass dog collars with red leather linings , both with the name of the owner Baron Sellière at the chateau de Mello ( Oise ) . One of the collars with 3 round bells.
Circa 1860 - 1880.
Good condition with slight rubbing to the silvering.
The antique castle of Mello , property of the dukes of Montmorency was purchased by Baron François Alexandre Sellière in 1819.
Diameter 12 cm ( 4 3/4 inches ) for one and 10 cm ( 4 inches ) for the other.
